About the Role

The Manager in the Operations Excellence practice within the Financial Management discipline supports clients in modernizing their finance organizations. This includes developing application strategies, transformation roadmaps, and integrating methodologies and tools with other consulting solutions. The role involves leading engagements, mentoring team members, and contributing to business development.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as delivery leader on engagements of moderate-to-high complexity, managing client relationships with c-level sponsors, engagement scope, budget, and team performance
  • Lead digital finance transformation projects across multiple implementation workstreams
  • Oversee project deliverables, profitability, work management, reporting, change management, and vendor management
  • Model and mentor Consultants and Senior Consultants in client interactions and project work
  • Act as Career Advisor for at least one Consultant, participating in performance management processes
  • Engage in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting new hire consultants
  • Support business development by building networks, educating partners on Financial Management offerings, and scoping projects and proposals

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, Finance & Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience advising clients on ERP selection and implementation, with direct experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365; participation in at least 5 full-cycle ERP implementations
  • Strong functional knowledge in Lead to Close, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce, Record to Report, Recruit to Retire, and optionally other industry-specific areas (e.g., TMS, WMS, PSA, EAM)
  • Expert project management skills including work plans, project scope, budget, risk management, and deliverables presentation
  • Minimum 1 year of people management experience, with coaching and team development skills
  • Strong data visualization and analysis skills; proficiency with tools such as Excel
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level deliverables and client-facing presentations
  • Demonstrated success in one or more core industries: Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare, Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, Private Equity
  • Commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives
  • Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
